While at IFIC, I had the opportunity to meet some amazing people and work on some interesting projects, which are as follows:

Meetings: While at IFIC, I was able to attend a meeting on healthy school lunches on Capitol Hill. This meeting focused on various ways to get children to eat healthier meals during
lunch.
Webinars: A live webinar was hosted by IFIC called The Home Food Safety Mythbusters. I was able to be part of the webinar by live tweeting on the topics covered and bring attention to the subject.
Media Updates: Researched current media articles on topics such as carbohydrates, food additives, biotechnology, caffeine, artificial sweeteners, and preservatives. A summary was written on each article, as well as determining the article's popularity in social media.
